Smt. Nanda Rani Das comes from Tripura a place where culture meets nature. The workmanship and uniqueness of bamboo craft is visible in the artwork of Nanda Rani Das. She creates wide range of ethnic bamboo and cane creative products. The specialty of Nanda Rani Das is that her artifacts are useful, durable and of reasonable rate. She proudly says that her first guru is his husband Shri Subhash Chandra Das, who always had immense interest in the native and tribal art work of bamboo & cane. Initially his husband learned this skill and later passed on this skill to his wife Nanda Rani Das.

She lived in a joint Bengali family in Tripura where everyone supported her artwork. This motivation has helped her in creating new items and she has bagged state award for her skilled craftsmanship in bamboo & cane and continues to work on innovative ideas.
